A far scattare l'inchiesta da parte della Procura della Repubblica di Udine e' stata la denuncia presentata da un ragazzo ora maggiorenne che avrebbe rivelato di aver subito per anni attenzioni particolari da parte del sacerdote quando aveva 12 anni ed era ospite della struttura di accoglienza. Le attenzioni nei confronti del giovane sarebbero durate sino al raggiungimento della maggiore eta' e quindi alla decisione di lasciare la casa-famiglia. Dalla Procura di Udine fanno sapere che si tratta di un'indagine molto delicata. E' stato lo stesso sostituto Procuratore del Tribunale di Udine Giancarlo Bonocore ad avvisare la Curia udinese che nella mattinata c'era stata una perquisizione da parte dei Carabinieri nella struttura dove era stato ospitato l'autore della denuncia. Sembra che gli sviluppi dell'indagine avrebbero permesso agli uomini dell'Arma di aprire uno squarcio sul fenomeno della prostituzione maschile a Udine. La Comunita' dei salesiani di Udine ha intanto precisato che 'dalla perquisizione minuziosa effettuata dai Carabinieri non e' stato trovato nulla di quanto si pensava secondo la denuncia sporta dal giovane'. I salesiani hanno aggiunto anche che non comprendono il motivo della denuncia del ragazzo che 'e' stato peraltro molto aiutato dalla loro struttura in passato'. [translation] BOY DENOUNCES A SALESIAN PRIEST A clergyman belonging to the Salesian community in Udine is being investigated for allegations of committing sexual violence on a minor. What started the investigation by the Prosecutor of the Republic in Udine was the charge made by a boy, now over 18, who revealed having received for years particular attentions from a a priest when he was 12-years-old and receiving assistance in a religious institution. Those "attentions" allegedly lasted until the boy became of age and he left the "casa-famiglia" ( family home). From the Prosecutor's office they let know the investigation is very delicate. It was the same Substitute Prosecutor of Udine, Giancarlo Bonocore, to inform the local curia that in that same morning there had been a search by the carabinieri (the military police) in the "family home" where the boy had been a guest. It seems that further developments of the investigation had allowed the carabinieri to make light on male prostitution in Udine. Meanwhile the Salesian community in Udine made it known that "after the thorough search nothing was found which could be related to the boy's charges". The Salesians added they don't understand the reasons for those allegations, having been the boy much helped in their home in the past years.
