Si dichiara innocente, don Pierpaolo Mologni, il parroco di Ozegna accusato di pedofilia. Ma dichiara anche di aver fiducia nella giustizia.
In clinica
Ieri pomeriggio il sacerdote ha lasciato l'ospedale di Ivrea - dove fino all'altro giorno era ricoverato in rianimazione - ed e stato trasporto alla Casa del Clero, dove e attualmente ricoverato.

Una delle ultime persone ad averlo incontrato e stato il suo difensore, l'avvocato Elio Guglielmino del foro di Ivrea.
L'avvocato Guglielmino ha trovato l'anziano parroco molto provato ed in condizioni di salute precarie, ma fermo del respingere tutte le accuse che gli verrebbero mosse.
Anche oggi il prevosto ha respinto ogni addebito: «Sono estraneo ad ogni fatto che mi vene addebitato dalla Procura di Torino. Anzi non sono ancora a conoscenza dei motivi veri di queste falsita e della fonte da cui possono venire simili e gravi accuse. Di tutto il materiale che io avrei avuto non so proprio cosa dire, non ho mai conservato fotografie pedopornografiche di bambini. Nella mia vita – prosegue don Pierpaolo – credo di non aver mai commesso alcunche di delittuoso ma confido serenamente nel corso della giustizia, sono fermamente convinto di uscire da questa brutta storia nel migliore dei modi perche non ho commesso gli atti di cui mi si accusa».
Dichiarazioni di una certa e completa innocenza ed estraneita ai gravi fatti addebitategli, una posizione nettamente antitetica a quanto emergerebbe, invece, dai fascicoli di indagine.
«Sono falsita – ha ripetuto il sacerdote – io non ho mai toccato un bambino in vita mia e credo che certe cose siano venute fuori per la malvagita di certi uomini. Io sono un uomo di Chiesa e se devo sopportare questo Calvario, lo faccio con la serenita di chi sa di non aver commesso alcunche. E fin d'ora dico – ha voluto concludere il parroco di Ozegna – che perdono coloro che hanno orchestrato questa dolorosa calunnia».
La curia
Nel frattempo la curia vescovile eporediese si e affrettata a diffondere un comunicato stampa, attribuito direttamente al vescovo Miglio e concordato con il cardinal Bertone, nel quale si prendono decise distanze dal sacerdote indagato. «Sorpresa e sofferenza hanno destato le accuse rivolte ad un sacerdote della nostra diocesi - scrive il presule, quasi per allontanare da se il sospetto che la vicenda di don Pierpaolo fosse in qualche modo gia nota in ambienti ecclesiastici -, circondato dalla stima e dall'affetto di molti che lo conoscono, al quale tutti esprimiamo gratitudine per il bene compiuto e vicinanza in questo particolare momento».
Miglio si rivolge ai giudici e alle vittime del "presunto" prete pedofilo: «Esprimiamo fiducia nella magistratura per il suo delicato compito, vicinanza e solidarieta alle persone, specialmente se minori, per quanto possono aver patito in questa vicenda». E poi la "stoccata" finale: «E molto vivo in tutti noi l'eco delle parole pronunciate da Benedetto XVI sia nel recente viaggio negli Stati Uniti, sia in Australia in occasione della Giornata Mondiale della Gioventu appena conclusasi» e cioe: «I preti pedofili devono essere condannati».

IVREA - He declares to be innocent, the Rev. Pierpaolo Mologni, the parish priest at Ozegna accused of pedophilia. But he also declares to trust justice. A completely different statement from what is written in the papers of the investigations: " Those are falsities - repeated the priest - I never touched a child in my life and such reports are due to the wickedness of some men . I'm a man of the Church and if I have to bear this Calvary, I do that with the serenity of a person who knows he never did anything wrong. And I now say - the parish priest of Ozegna concluded - I pardon those who orchestrated this painful calumny". Meanwhile the curia rushed to issue a press release, directly attributable to Bishop Miglio and agreed upon with cardinal Bertone, whereby they distance themselves from the investigated priest. "Surprise and suffering came from the accusations to a priest of our diocese - the bishop wrote, as if he wanted to eliminate the suspicion that story was already known in the ecclesiastical environment- he is esteemed and loved by those who know him , and we express our gratitude for the good he did and we are near him in this particular moment". Bishop Miglio sends an appeal to the judges and the victims of the "alleged' pedophile priest: "We express our trust in the magistrates for their delicate duty, we are close and give our solidarity to those people, especially if minors, for what they had to put up with". And then the final "stroke": " It's very vivid in all of us the echo of the words pronounced by Benedict XVI, both in the recent trip to USA and in Australia for the World Youth Day just concluded", which means: "pedophile priests must be convicted".
