	Suits Alleging Abuse by Colorado Priests Settled Associated Press, carried on KRDO July 1, 2008 http://www.krdo.com/Global/story.asp?S=8584091 DENVER - Attorneys and church officials say more than a dozen lawsuits against the Denver Archdiocese alleging sexual abuse by priests or cover-ups have been settled. The attorneys say the settlements total $4.5 million. Lawyers and archdiocese officials scheduled separate news conferences Tuesday to discuss the settlements. The lawsuits involve allegations by 14 people who say they were sexually assaulted as children by three priests. 2 of the priests have since died.
