A Superior Court jury deliberated for about 90 minutes before finding Joseph Gary Torres guilty on 11 counts, including continuous sexual abuse, oral copulation and sodomy by force, Deputy District Attorney Carolyn McNary said. Torres faces up to 30 years in state prison when he is sentenced August 7. Prosecutors said Torres met the victims at his Sunland church, Iglesia Bautista Reformada, which is Spanish for Reformed Baptist Church. They said he molested a 12-year-old girl for six years, and sexually abused a 14-year-old girl from July 2005 to August 2006.
