James "Jay" Virtue Robinson IV, pastor of Southwood Baptist Church, surrendered at the Tarrant County Jail Wednesday after an arrest warrant charging sexual assault of a child was issued. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Robinson was freed after he posted a $20,000 bond. Robinson has denied having a relationship with the girl, who is now 18. The warrant says Robinson was the youth minister when the relationship began about two years ago. A phone listing for him was disconnected and the church's Web site was down Thursday morning. His attorney, Cheyenne Minick, didn't immediately return a call from The Associated Press. The Star-Telegram reported that Robinson has been pastor of the church since October 2006.
