SNAP Press Statement By Pat Serrano Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests April 19, 2008 http://snapnetwork.org/snap_statements/2008_statements/041908_clergy_contact_authorities_report.htm Priests have suspicions or information about clergy sex crimes; tell authorities Statement by Pat Serrano, New Jersey SNAP leader 201-715-6510, Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests Even now, many priests have suspicions or information about clergy sex crimes. Regardless of when those crimes may have happened, it's critical that the information be given to police. Someone- the pope, the bishops, or law enforcement - must send a clear signal to church employees: come forward and report what you know. Priests should protect vulnerable kids not their child molesting colleagues.
