The accused also holds an official position at a local church. Parents of students at Seven Hills Charter school in Worcester, were given notices from the school Thursday, telling them of the arrest of music teacher Tyrone Forbes. Forbes appeared before a Worcester Judge Thursday, charged with seven counts of rape of a child. Police arrested him early Thursday morning when they noticed his car sitting in the parking lot of Bennett Field...a city park off Main Street. Forbes was allegedly inside the car with a 15-year-old boy. Police questioned the two and Forbes admitted they had a sexual relationship. "He gave a recorded statement...admitted contact thru November, December and into this year." The alleged victim is not a student at Seven Hills. Prosecutors say Forbes, a Worcester resident and father of two, is a friend of the teen's family and active at the same church...Mount Sinia church in Worcester. Seven Hills issued a statement saying: "The staff member involved, has immediately been placed on leave and has been instructed not to return to school property. Seven Hills has immediately launched an internal investigation to ensure that this incident was an isolated one."
