	Church Members Start Healing Process By J.D. Wallace Kold - News13 January 17, 2008 http://www.kold.com/Global/story.asp?S=7733714&nav=menu86_13_2 Members of East Tucson Baptist Church don't want to believe one of their own has been arrested on charges of sexual abuse. Christopher Decaire was arrested on Friday after police served a search warrant at the church. Decaire, a youth minister at the church, now faces nine charges of sexual misconduct and abuse of a 13-year-old girl who attends the church. "It is hard to hear that because I know the guy. I think he's a great guy," said Luis Camacho, whose children attend a youth Bible study at the church. "He never left here alone with somebody else, he always had a family member with him," said pastor John Anderson. "When he talked to people in his office, there's always somebody here." Now Anderson says both families, Decaire's and the girl's, need support. "The side I'm going to take, the side I'm going to urge our church to take, is the side to be reconcilers," he said. "We need to glorify God not only with the way we act, but with the way we treat the families, because we don't know the truth, and if we take sides, we could make things a lot worse," Camacho said. Anderson said that only a deacon and the police know who the girl is.
