The Rev. Robert Whipkey entered his plea to the indecent exposure charges this week, disputing a police officer's allegation that he was found completely in the buff on a Frederick city street early one morning, Denver's KMGH-TV reported Wednesday. Police allege that when Whipkey was stopped by a police officer on the morning of June 22, the priest said he was simply returning home after jogging at a nearby high school. Based on comments from one of Whipkey's neighbors, the priest allegedly has an affinity for being nude whenever possible. "All of his drapes are always open, and he's basically nude in the house," Frederick resident Robyn Ciaravola alleged recently. "I have no problem with what someone does in his house, but he should close the drapes." Whipkey has been placed on administrative leave by the Denver Archdiocese.
