	Brothers Sue over Alleged Molestation by Priest Waterbury Republican-American November 14, 2007 http://www.rep-am.com/articles/2007/11/14/ap-state-ct/d8stkmk00.txt HARTFORD, Conn. - There brothers have sued the Hartford Archdiocese, alleging that they were molested by a priest 30 years ago. Richard, Paul and Niles Mallory say in separate lawsuits filed in New Haven Superior Court that Ivan Ferguson knew them when they accompanied their mother to St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church in Simsbury in 1977 and 1978. The men accuse Ferguson of threatening to fire their mother, who worked for the church, if they reported the abuse. Ferguson died in 2002 at age 68. Thomas McNamara, the lawyer for the Mallory brothers, said the abuse ranged from improper touching to sodomy. He said the priest took advantage of the Mallorys' reliance on their mother's job.
