Capitol Journal: In some copies of Monday's Orange County edition, George Skelton's Capitol Journal column was incomplete. The complete column can be found on B7 of today's California section in the Orange County edition and at latimes.com/ .

Abuse settlement: An article in Monday's California section about settlements in sexual abuse lawsuits in the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego said the Diocese of Orange's insurance and existing treasury would cover all or nearly all of a $100-million settlement reached to end 87 abuse claims there. The settlement, reached in 2004, has already been paid off. A separate $6.7-million settlement announced last week will be covered by insurance and existing diocesan funds.

TV surgery: The Unreal World feature in Monday's Health section, about a plot line on the "Private Practice" television series, incorrectly stated that compression of the umbilical cord can lead to preeclampsia.

Von Dassanowsky obituary: The obituary of classical musician and filmmaker Elfi von Dassanowsky in Saturday's California section stated that she was born Elfriede Marie Charlotte von Dassanowsky. In fact, her birth name was Elfriede Maria Elisabeth Charlotte von Dassanowsky. The obituary also stated that she married Laszlo de Csonka and that he died in 1978. His name is actually Laszlo (Leslie) Harris de Csonka, and he is alive. The couple divorced in 1978.

Chatsworth museum: An article in Monday's California section on the renaming of the Chatsworth Museum as the Virginia Watson Chatsworth Museum said Virginia Watson "read a column in the local newspaper mentioning her family as the first English-speaking settlers in Chatsworth in 1874." In fact, Watson read a column written by Katherine Johnson, who wrote about her own family -- the Johnson family -- as the first English-speaking settlers.

Angels baseball: A photo caption in Section A Monday said the Angels had scored only three runs while being swept in three games by the Boston Red Sox in the first round of the American League playoffs. The Angels scored four runs.

Blanchett film:
A story in Sunday's Calendar section on actress Cate Blanchett mentioned a movie titled "I'm Not Here." The film, in which Blanchett and half a dozen others portray Bob Dylan, is titled "I'm Not There."

Motor racing: A brief in Friday's Sports section about a threat to shut down Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C., misspelled the first name of its owner, Bruton Smith, as Burton.

'Women's Murder Club': In Monday's Calendar section, the Channel Island column about the new ABC series "Women's Murder Club" incorrectly called the National Organization for Women the National Organization of Women.

Philharmonic: A review in Monday's Calendar section of the Los Angeles Philharmonic described a chord based on the letters B-A-C-H and incorrectly said the H translated into B flat. The correct note is B natural.
