	Former Calgary Church Volunteer Charged with Sex Assault CHQR October 5, 2007 http://www.770chqr.com/news/news_local.cfm?cat=7428327912&rem=76346&red= 80132723aPBIny&wids=410&gi=1&gm=news_local.cfm CALGARY/AM770CHQR - A former volunteer at the Centre Street Church has been charged after a police investigation into allegations of sexual abuse. 43-year-old Kelly Malcolm Grant has been charged with 14 counts including sexual assault, sexual interference with a child under 14 and sexual contact with a youth by a person in authority. Police say these offences were alleged to have happened from 1994 to 2003 involving both child and adult church goers. In an official statement to the media, officials with the Centre Street Church say they've been cooperating with police in the matter. They also add Grant was a volunteer in the youth ministry department prior to early 2004, and he hasn't been associated with the church for more than 2 years. Other than that, church officials aren't commenting any further.
