	Mountain Home Priest Accused of Misconduct Fox 12 September 26, 2007 http://www.fox12news.com/Global/story.asp?S=7122452 Boise, Idaho — The Catholic Diocese of Boise has received a serious complaint about a Mountain Home priest. Father Raul Covarrubias, who normally leads the Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church, is accused of misconduct. The diocese won't release more on the nature of the allegation, since their investigation is ongoing. But they do say police are notified in cases involving a minor and in this case, the authorities have not been notified. Covarrubias has been placed on leave. "Anytime there is any allegation involving misconduct involving a priest, layperson or anyone employed by the diocese, you take it seriously because there is a lot of harm that can be done if things aren't addressed," said Michael Brown, communications director for the Catholic Diocese of Boise. Covarrubias has been at the Mountain Home Church for about 15 years and is reportedly well liked by many parishioners.
