A controversial Internet company based in Montreal will shut down on Oct. 1. Epifora, which provided hosting services for pedophile or so-called "boy-love" websites made the announcement on the company's website on Saturday. It stated the shutdown was based on a decision by its primary client, Free Spirits, to "seek more cost-effective hosting solutions." Free Spirits, a group based partly in Montreal, has created websites where members discuss their sexual attraction to children. The company also hosts a website run by John Robin Sharpe, a convicted pedophile who was part of a high-profile constitutional challenge of Canada's child pornography laws.
