Plaintiff's lawyer Ray Boucher confirmed that a deal was made on Saturday. The Magnitude: It would be by far the largest payout in the church's sexual abuse scandal, which erupted in Boston in 2002. What's Left: Details are still being ironed out, and a judge still needs to sign off. The settlement is to be announced Monday, the day jury selection for the first trial was to begin.
