	Priest Faces Rape Charges The Advertiser [Australia] May 8, 2007 http://bendigo.yourguide.com.au/detail.asp?class=news&subclass=general&story_id=582395&category=general A Catholic priest formerly of the Sandhurst diocese will face rape charges in Shepparton Magistrates Court today. The Rev. Father Adelrick D'Cruz, 77, is charged with 13 offences, including three counts of rape, and 10 counts of unlawful/indecent assault on a girl. He was ordained in 1957 and The Advertiser understands his parishes included Yarrawonga, Cohuna and Shepparton. Father D'Cruz now lives in Melbourne. The Advertiser tried to contact the Sandhurst diocese for comment late yesterday, but the call was not returned at the time of going to press.
