A church handyman accused of murdering Polish student Angelika Kluk was aware of the floor hatch under which her body was found, a court has heard.
Marie Devine, 64, a helper at St Patrick's Church, in Anderston, Glasgow, said a man she had known as Pat McLaughlin saw the trapdoor in use.
At the High Court in Edinburgh, Mrs Devine said Peter Tobin, 60, was the man she knew as Pat McLaughlin.

Mr Tobin denies attacking Angelika between 24 and 29 September, 2006.
The court heard how Angelika's body was found beneath the trapdoor after a police search.
Mrs Devine said she had seen the man she knew as Pat McLaughlin standing with a voluntary group organiser as they inspected the hatch near the confessional last summer.
Repeatedly struck
The court heard how there had been discussions about piping water into a room in the Catholic church.
It has been alleged that Mr Tobin attacked Angelika, raped her, battered her and repeatedly struck her with a knife.
It has been further alleged that he then hid the body under the floor of the church in an attempt to defeat the ends of justice.
A further charge, which Mr Tobin also denies, alleged that he told Strathclyde Police his name was Patrick McLaughlin, gave a false date of birth and address, and travelled to London and gave staff at the National Neurology and Neurosurgery Hospital in Queen's Square, London, another false name.
In a special defence read to the jury, Mr Tobin has admitted having sex with the Polish student, with her consent.
