Fort Collins — The trial is underway for former priest Timothy Evans, who is accused of sexually molesting a minor in 1999.
Jury selection began Monday and will continue into Tuesday.
Evans, 44, has pleaded not guilty to three felony sexual assault charges and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Evans was a priest at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Fort Collins from 1998 to 2002. He was removed from the church in 2002.
He also faces one count of sexual assault on a child in Jefferson County where he was a priest from 1995 to 1997. That trial is set to begin in April.
