  Woman Refutes Extortion Claim

The 25-year-old rape complainant against a priest on Thursday refuted the claim of the latter in his counter-affidavit, saying she never needed his money.

The assistant priest of Carles town in his affidavit also questioned the claims of the complainant. Alarcon said if she was indded raped last February 1, why did she return to his house after five days.

The complainant filed two counts of rape against Alarcon after the priest allegedly forced her to have sex last February 1 and 6 inside the priest's house in Leganes.

The case is now under the evaluation and review by Assistant Provincial Prosecutor Porcia
