Omaha, Neb. — An Omaha priest was officially charged on Wednesday with embezzlement.
The Rev. Stephen Gutgsell is charged with theft by deception after more than $100,000 was reported missing from St. Patrick's Parish.
Gutgsell turned himself in to police this week after reaching a plea deal with prosecutors. He faces 20 years in prison and a $25,000 fine.
