	Former Youth Minister Convicted of Murdering Pregnant Teen KGBT [San Antonio TX] February 2, 2007 http://www.team4news.com/Global/story.asp?S=6031650&nav=0w0v A jury in San Antonio today convicted a former youth minister of killing his pregnant 17-year-old girlfriend and their unborn child. Twenty-four-year-old Adrian Estrada was found guilty of capital murder in the December 2005 choking and stabbing death of Stephanie Sanchez. Estrada, who's a former youth pastor at El Sendero Assembly of God church, could receive the death penalty. The punishment phase begins Tuesday. Sanchez was found dead on the kitchen floor of her family's home. She was three months pregnant. D-N-A evidence showed Estrada was the father. Estrada admitted to police that he choked and stabbed the victim. The defense says the couple had a fight. Prosecutor Kirsta Melton says Estrada went to work out and buy clothes after stabbing the teen.
