	Davenport Diocese Prepares List of Anonymous Claimants in Bankruptcy WOI October 27, 2006 http://www.woi-tv.com/Global/story.asp?S=5597731&nav=1LFX Davenport, Iowa The Roman Catholic Diocese of Davenport is preparing a list of anonymous claimants that will be kept under seal while the diocese goes through bankruptcy proceedings. The diocese filed for Chapter 11 earlier this month -- the fourth diocese in the nation to seek financial protection to deal with priest sex abuse cases. An order filed this week in U-S Bankruptcy Court creates a Master Anonymous Claimants List that will include the individual's name and assign them a "Doe number" -- as in John Doe. The list will be filed with the court and immediately sealed. When future claimants come forward their name and address will be added to the list, which will be amended while still under seal. A deadline for filing claims is set for February sixth.
