The Times of Malta said that the Archdiose of Miami has asked any possibile victims of inappropiate behaviour or oabuse by a Gozitan priest to come forward or contact the a law enforcement agency. The Malta Independent added that the Gozo Curia was tight-lipped, saying little more than what had been said in a statement issue don Thursday night. L-Orizzont reported that people close to Fr.Anthony Mercieca remained shocked by the news as they never noticed any tendencies or inclinations towards the allegations being made against the priest. Elsewhere, In-Nazzjon said that the Budget presented by government strenghten the economy and gave the people more spending power.
