A former foster parent and one-time Episcopal priest suspected by Denver authorities of molesting young boys for five decades has been indicted on charges of distributing and receiving child pornography.
Donald George Shissler, 72, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Denver last week. The indictment was unsealed Monday.
The indictment alleges that in June, July and August of 2001 and in February 2002, Shissler used his computer to transmit "graphic images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct."
During seven months in 2001, Shissler received child pornography over his computer, according to the indictment. The porn showed graphic images of minors engaged in sex, the indictment said.
