A former head pastor indicted for allegedly sexually abusing young female congregants delayed entering a plea at the first hearing of his trial at the Kyoto District Court on Tuesday.
Tamotsu Kin, 61, said he was currently unable to testify. The second hearing is scheduled for Aug. 23.
