MANHATTAN, N.Y. -- Postponed last week, the sexual-abuse trial of the Rev. Albert M. Liberatore in New York is now scheduled for June 15, according to the Manhattan district attorney's office.

The Diocese of Scranton priest was scheduled to start trial today. The Rev. Liberatore faces three felony abuse charges in New York, the most serious he faces in three separate jurisdictions.

All stem from abuse allegations levied by a University of Scranton student and former altar boy at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Duryea.
