DAVENPORT, Iowa Jurors are being selected to hear a lawsuit accusing a defrocked Roman Catholic priest of sexual abuse almost 50 years ago.
A 56-year-old man, who claims he was abused as a child, is suing James Janssen.
The man claims Janssen abused him as a child and that church officials kept the secret for more than four decades.
Janssen, who was assigned to several eastern Iowa parishes between 1956 and 1988, is accused of abusing young boys throughout his career.
