NORTHFIELD, N.H. -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding a church volunteer they say has sexually molested several young girls and stolen church money.
The suspect is Scott Nash, 45, of Northfield, an official of the Tilton Episcopal Church in Tilton.
"We believe he is still in the area," said Northfield Police Chief Scott Hilliard, who reported Nash was last seen on Tuesday in Laconia.
He said the alleged sexual assaults happened within the last year.
Hilliard said the sexual allegations were reported to police by officials of the Episcopal Diocese, who have been helpful in the investigation.
