BALTIMORE -- The prosecutors in the case against defrocked Baltimore priest Maurice Blackwell rested its case Tuesday morning.
Prosecutor Jo Anne Stanton rested after brief testimony from Monsignor Brian Ferme, who is a dean at Catholic University's School of Canon Law. He briefly described the role of a pastor in a church.
Judge Stuart Berger asked jurors if they had heard or watched any news reports about the case. If so, he asked them to give him a note.
